DAY 1: LIMA PICK UP
You will be picked up from the airport and taken to the hotel in
Lima so you can rest. Overnight.
DAY 2: LIMA / HUARAZ
Pick up your hotel and transfer to the bus station Travel from Lima
to Huaraz at 13:00. Approximately 8 hours by bus. On the way you can
appreciate the littoral coast and diversity of the ecological floors
between the coast and sierra.
Arrive to Huaraz between 19:00 and 20:00 hours in the night.
Transfer to the hotel.(B)
DAY 3: LLANGANUCO
The Breakfast at 7:00 a.m.
Pick up at Huaraz 8:00 a.m. On the way you will visit:
- Carhuaz, nice city of the Huaylas valley, from here you can see
the glacier Copa (6100 meters over level see), in this city you can
enjoy the more delicious ice cream of all Callejón de Huaylas.
- Yungay and the saint camp: you will visit the city covered by the
landslide in 1970.
- Caraz. Last destine. You will have the box lunch.
LLANGANUCOS LAKES: It is on the valley of the same name, inside of
National Park Huascarán, you will enjoy the Andean flora, and a
impressive landscape with mountains like Huascarán (6978 m.o.s.l.),
the higher in Perú, Huandoy, the king of Cordillera Blanca and many
others (B, box lunch)
DAY 4: CHAVIN
The Breakfast: 7:30 a.m.
Pick up at 9:30 a.m. On the way you will visit:
- The Querococha lagoon, the bigger in the cordillera Blanca.
- Also you will see the glaciers of Cordillera Blanca and observe
the sequence of the mountains,then will arrive to the Tunnel Kawish
at 4650 meters over the level sea.
- Finally to Chavín de Huántar town, where you will visit the
archaeological place.Here you have the box lunch.
CHAVIN DE HUANTAR: Seat of one of the most important cultures of
Perú, for be considerate the origin of Culture in South American,
the archeological place, have one serial of galleries building with
rocks. (B, box lunch)
-Return to Huaraz approximately at 6:00 p.m.
DAY 5: HATUN MACHAY : FOREST OF STONES
The Breakfast at 7:00 a.m.
Pick up at 8:00 a.m. In the way you going to visit the San
Patricio’s grotto, and you going to pass the first town of Huaylas
Valley, Recuay, that conserve Andean characteristics before
earthquake of 1970, also the town Ticapampa and town Cátac. You will
pass the Conococha altitude 4100 meters over the sea level.
HATUN MACHAY: Situated to 75 km south of Huaraz site of impressive
geological formation. The stone forest of HATUN MACHAY conform a
special warm microclimate above 4000 meters over the sea. The
archaeological place shows that the man used this magic place since
thousands of years before.
Departure at 22:30 Hrs. Upon arrival around 7:00am transfer to the
hotel in Lima. (B, box lunch)

CLIMATE: The climate is very dry, in the morning usually the sky is
clean and the climate is warm. In the morning the temperature is
between 7º until 15º. In the shadow is cold. The Night is very cold,
between 5º until 0º. Exist two seasons very different: dry from
April to September, accentuating between June and August and rainy
from October and May, the maxim rains are between January and April.

DAY 6 : AREQUIPA
You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning, transfer to
the airport to take the flight to Arequipa (airfare not included)
Upon arrival reception and transfer to the selected Hotel. In the
afternoon around 3 pm you'll take the Arequipa half day city tour
that includes the visit at the Santa Catarina monastery The city has
fine spanish buildings and many old and interesting churches built
of sillar, a pearly white volcanic material almost exclusevely used
in the construction of Arequipa. The Santa Catalina Convent is by
far the most remarkable sight, opened in 1970 after 4 centuries of
mistery. Overnight. (B)
DAY 7 : COLCA CANYON
Pick up from your Hotel to depart to the Colca Canyon, on the way
you will appreciate the variety of native animals as the Vicuñas,
vizcachas, Llamas and the most impressive Volcano viewpoint.
Around noon we will arrive to the Chivay town where we will have
lunch and transfer to the lodge, afternoon visit to the Thermal
baths, La Calera , dinner at the lodge and overnight (B,L,D)
(Admission to the pools not included, about $4 per person).
DAY 8 : COLCA CANYON / PUNO
Early morning around 6:30 am breakfast in the Hotel and we will
depart to the Cruz del Condor:see the deep of the canyon and if we
have good luck we will see the flight of the Condor, on the way we
will visit the towns of Yanque, Achoma, Maca Miraflores and
Choquetico, the viewpoint of Tapay, lunch in Chivay town and around
14:30pm. Then transfer to the bus station for continue to Puno.
After 6 hours you will arrive and transfer to the selected hotel.

DAY 9 : UROS ISLAND AND LLACHON PENINSULA ( PRIVATE SERVICE -
OVERNIGHT )
Breakfast. At 8:00am, you will be picked up from your hotel, after
30 minutes of motorboat you will arrive at the Uros Island.
Fishermen and hunters inhabit the floating islands of the Uros. The
residents of the Uros use the cattail, a type of rush, which grows
in the lake, to create the conditions that ensure the islands stay
afloat. The dense roots that the plants develop support the island.
The roofs are waterproof and the houses are extremely humid because
of the surrounding water. At present they speak Quechua and Aymara.
We will visit 3 different floating islands and we will board the
“Totora Boats”, after this tour we will continue our trip and we
will arrive to Llachon Peninsula. In Llachon, we will appreciate the
Inca’s costums that still stay, the behavior and the interrelations
of the residents. We will take lunch prepared by the residents.
After, we will take a motorboat for 40 minutes bordering Llachon
peninsula and we will appreciate the natural landscape that the
peninsula offer us. At night, we will take dinner and have a show
prepared by the residents who lodge us.
These home stays does not have the same facilities as one house of
the city , This program will give the traveler the opportunity to
set contact wit these inhabitants and learn about their knowledge
and experiences, experimenting also the intensity of their love to
the earth, their myths and believes. (Shared bathrooms, no hot
water). Overnight. (B, L, D)
DAY 10 : LLACHON PENINSULA AND TAQUILE ISLAND
Breakfast. Transfer from Llachon Peninsula to Taquile Island (1
hour). We will arrive to Taquile Island. We will visit the Taquile
Island and we will take a walk of 50 minutes from Chuño port, by a
footpath that goes directly to the main square, located in the top
of the island. The residents continue living according their old
traditions and laws. We left the Taquile Island where we must
descend 533 stone steps (altitude 13,000 ft above sea level)to
arrive to Chilcano main port. Return to Puno. (B,L)
DAY 11 : CUSCO
Breakfast and transfer to the bus station so you can take the ride
to Cusco. Depart Puno on guided bus to Cusco, visiting on the route
picturesque towns and archeological sites in Andahuaylillas, Raqchi,
Sicuani, La Raya and Pukara. Lunch included. Afternoon arrival in
Puno, reception and transfer to your hotel. Overnight at the
hotel.(B,L)

train only works on Monday, Wednesday and Saturdays)
DAY 12 : CUSCO CITY TOURS
Morning at leisure . You will be picked up from your hotel in the
afternoon. We will depart on a City tour (entrance to the
archaeological centers and museums included) we will visit to the
Main square, Cathedral, the Koricancha (temple of the sun) and in
addition we will make a route by bordering archaeological centers
like Sacsayhuaman, kenko, Pucapucara and Tambomachay, tour finishes
6:30pm approximately, transfer your Hotel and overnight
DAY 13 : MACHU PICCHU
Early breakfast and transfer to the train station to depart to
Machupicchu the trip takes about 4 hours and you will be traveling
in vista dome train, upon arrival to Aguas Calientes you will have
to approach the bus station towards the Ciudadela of Machupicchu
(Only 20 minutes ride) will receive a guided tour by this Huge
Historical Sanctuary follow by some free time to lunch at the Machu
Picchu Sanctuary Lodge restaurant (included) and in the afternoon
return to Cusco. Reception at the train station and transfer to the
Hotel where it passed the night (B).
DAY 14 : SACRED VALLEY TOUR
Breakfast. You will be picked up at 8:15 am. Full day excursion to
the Urubamba Valley visiting: the colorful Indian market in Pisac
where a mixture of color, tradition will be able appreciated The
Valley has a distance of 31 km (19 miles) of Cusco, and one altitude
of 2,970 ms (9,700 p), Pisac where we will visit the market, and is
located to the entrance of the Sacred Valley followed by
Ollantaytambo, the older town continuously occupied of the American
continent. The narrow streets of Ollantaytambo, along with their
channels that have not varied from the time Inca, evoke their
ancestral inheritance, lunch in a typical restaurant on the evening
and then the Chinchero market. At the end, return to Cusco at 6:30pm
approx.
The night is free for you to eat in a restaurant of your choice;
although we always have plenty of suggestions for you should you
require them. (B, L)

DAY 15 : TRANSFER OUT
In the morning transfer to the airport to take the flight to Lima
(airfare not included) in time to get your international flight
connection. (B)
